Wellington

Wellington, right at the foot of North Island is gorgeous. It is set between steep hills on a natural bay. It serves as capital city and cross-roads between the two islands. The nightlife is lively and there are many things to tempt the visitor by daylight. Check out the Museum of New Zealand and the Maritime Museum. The Bay offers every kind of watersport in creation but beware of the weather. Not for nothing is it known as Windy Wellington.
