The hostel is situated on the edge of Lake Te Anau in a central location- 5 minutes walk will take you to cafes, supermarkets and the Department of Conservation [DOC]. Te Anau is the gateway town to the Fiordland World Heritage National Park and our guests are here to either visit one of the fiords or walk a track. Our staff offer expert, advice gained by their participation in many Fiordland activities and walks. If you want to kayak, cruise, heli-hike, 4 wheel motor-bike, day walk or mountain bike they can advise you of the options and book it for you.
