Shangri-La Cruises was established in 1952 and is the longest serving cruise company currently operating on the Gold Coast, Australia. The original vessel was named 'Vagabond' and cruised from Surfers Paradise to South Stradbroke Island to offer full day sightseeing cruises. After numerous owners and vessels including 'Nerang Princess' and 'Coca Cola Cat' the current fleet includes the 'Spirit of Shangri-La'.
